By Rachel Cericola

Buying a new 3D-ready HDTV is certainly cause for excitement. Of course, these TVs are great for standard 2D viewingm but imagine how giddy you'd be if you could actually enjoy that full HD 3D experience right out of the box. Amazon wants to put you one step closer to that 3D experience, by offering a big discount on Panasonic's DMP-BDT110 Wi-Fi ready 3D/2D Blu-ray Disc player with the purchase of select Panasonic HDTVs.

Choose between one of the 11 qualifying Panasonic HDTVs and add it to your shopping cart. Then, add the DMP-BDT110 Blu-ray 3D player. Once you checkout, you should see a credit for $90. You can pocket the savings or use it to buy a few Blu-ray 3D discs. You'd better decide quickly, though. This offer is only good through August 13, 2011. Find out more about this offer and the eligible TVs on Amazon's main promotion page:

Besides being able to play Blu-ray 3D and 2D Blu-ray discs, as well as DVDs and CDs, the DMP-BDT110 Blu-ray 3D player has VIERA Cast built in. That means you can tap into content from Netflix, Twitter, Amazon Instant Video, Pandora, and others, right from the remote. Add-in the TY-CC10W camera and you can also make big-screen Skype calls. This player performed extremely well under our testing. We said, "It's one of the most affordable out there right now, especially considering what it's packing." Read our DMP-BDT110 review or check out the player on Amazon:

There isn't much of a choice with the Blu-ray 3D player here. However, Amazon does have quite a few TV models to choose from in this offer. For instance, you can get the 55-inch TC-P55GT30 1080p 3D plasma. Besides 3D playback and the full 1080p HD image, this is a THX 3D Certified Display, which means its image quality matches what the filmmakers intended you to see. Other features include 2D-to-3D conversion, the Infinite Black 2 panel, the 24p cinema smoother function, a Game Mode, and four HDMI inputs. Also, it has VIERA Connect, which has plenty of additional web-based features, as well as the Skype option. Amazon is currently selling this set for lower than the manufacturer's "minimum advertised price." At last peek, it was $1,617.13. Check out the current pricing, as well as more about the TC-P55GT30, on Amazon's product page:

We also have a very soft spot for the 50-inch TC-P50ST30 1080p 3D plasma. Besides being part of this deal, this set is also part of the BIGGIE award-winning lineup for 2011. It offers many of the same features mentioned above, but knocks the number of HDMI inputs down to three. Think you can live? If so, you'll want to check out what our own Ian White said about this 3D TV, such as, "You can achieve some jaw-dropping picture quality out of it if you calibrate it properly." Just don't wait too long; the offer is only good through 11:59 p.m. (PST) on August 13, 2011 or while supplies last.
