Contour's iSee inked Gives Your iPod Tattooed Flair

By Rachel Cericola

Think Ink!

All inked up with nowhere else to go? Instead of adding another tattoo to the tiny crevices left on your body, Contour Design wants you to express yourself with your iPod nano.

The company just announced iSee inked, a collection of crystal-clear cases that have designs etched right on them.

If you're like me, your iPod probably looks like it was backed over by a truck -- twice. However, this case is made up of a clear polycarbonate material, which easily snaps together right over your iPod. It also has a scratch-resistant coating; so even the coating is tough!

One thing that won't be so tough: trying to flip through your iPod. Each unit has a removable screen protector, which provides easy access to the controls.

Weighing in about 0.7 ounces each, there are seven different designs available. All have weird names like Swirls, Reverb, Argyle, Flourish, Squares, Circles, and Zebra. Sadly, none have the name "Flaming Skulls" or "Mom."

That's not the only thing that's limited, though. Currently, the case is only available for the iPod nano 4G. Get one direct from Contour for $24.95 or wait a while as they're certain to become available online on sites like Amazon.com.
