When we broke the news about Amazon's $100 instant savings offer last week, we thought it was pretty cool that you could take home a Samsung or Sylvania Blu-ray Disc player and four movies for around $175.  Well now Amazon is making a sweet deal even sweeter, adding three different Sony Blu-ray Disc players to the list of eligible players.

Combining this deal with Amazon's low player prices, you can now get a Sony BDP-S300 plus four Warner movie on Blu-ray for $142 (update: stock depleted as of 11/6), or to future-proof yourself, get the latest generation BD-Live enabled player (the BDP-S350) for about $190 with four movies! You can also choose the top-of-the-line BDP-S550 or PS3 gaming console/Blu-ray Disc player.  Disc selection includes popular titles such as Superman, I Am Legend, Speed Racer, Batman Begins and Superman Returns as well as 26 other titles.

Here's the link:

And here's how you get the deal.  From the above page, add any of the Blu-ray Disc players plus 4 Warner Blu-ray movies to your cart by clicking on the check boxes, then proceed to check-out.  Enter the promotion code AMAZONBD at checkout. You should see a $100 instant credit appear in your shopping cart.

Select super saver shipping if you want it shipped free, or select a more expeditious shipping method if you're in a hurry.  Check out and get ready for some of that high definition 1080p goodness!  Keep in mind that there are no forms to fill out or mail in and long waiting periods for a rebate check that may never arrive.  The discount is applied immediately to your cart once you apply the promotion code at check-out.

Update! 11/07/08 - Amazon has added some more players to the list, including Panasonic's popular DMP-BD55K Samsung's BD-P2500 player with Netflix, and players from Pioneer and Sharp.  Here's the current list of eligible players:
