NHT Announces 72-Hour Sale on Stereo and Home Theater Speakers

By Rachel Cericola

Home theater and music lovers rejoice!  The new NHT is celebrating its first birthday!  Well technically, the California-based speaker manufacturer has been around for a long time. However, if they want to celebrate their birthday with blowout prices, who are we to complain?

Actually, NHT relaunched last year, with a web-based direct to consumer business model. To commemorate that anniversary, NHT will hold a store-wide sale on May 18, 19 and 20. The company will offer a store-wide 18 percent discount off their already low factory-direct prices on home theater speakers, from small bookshelf models to towering, well... tower speakers.

Now before you start salivating, know a few things. First, no hoarding! You can only buy up to four of any particular item. Next, don't expect to cash in any gift cards. You'll have to save those for another time. Also, you will need a coupon code: NHT365.

However, NHT's select web partners such as OneCall and Amazon will reap benefits as well, offering lower prices during the sale. No coupons are needed if you go to one of their partners:

We highly recommend that you scarf up one (or four!) of NHT's Absolute Zero. This mini monitor packs a 5.25-inch woofer and a 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter into a small, slick unit. It can be wall mounted, or placed on a shelf or stand. Other features include a frequency response of 71Hz-20kHz and a sensitivity of 86dB.

If you want to go a little bigger, the Classic Four is good option. This tower of speaker power is basically NHT's Classic Three bookshelf speaker, sitting on top of a 10-inch subwoofer.

There's also the slick, sweet sound of Verve, with classic curves to match its elegant sound. The speakers come in two sizes: regular or satellite. There's also a very nice matching 200-watt subwoofer. NHT sells them in a package, but you can also purchase them separately.

Of course, in-walls, accessories, cables, and everything else you can imagine is also on sale -- but only for three days, so you'd better act quickly. (Although backorders are ok!).  More information at www.nhthifi.com.
