Home Theater Deals: Up to 72 Pct Off Receivers, Speakers, HTiB Systems from Polk, Sony, Onkyo and More

You've (hopefully) got the big screen. Now you need the audio to make the scene authentic. While sound is often secondary to a big beautiful image, it doesn't have to be -- definitely not at the prices that Amazon is currently touting.

The online retailer is marking down everything from single speakers and subwoofers to receivers to full-blown Blu-ray home theater packages. Check out what they are offering at a discount here:

We see a nice variety, but there's no denying that Sound Bars stand out in the offering. If you're in the market for a slick, single-speaker solution, these prices really can't be beat. Here are a few of our favorite options in this category:

The Sony, Denon and JVC products all pair the one speaker with an external subwoofer. Featuring three HDMI inputs, Sony's HTCT100 promises 250 watts of total power and BRAVIA Sync support. Denon's DHT-FS3 offers 175 watts and throws in its own X-Space technology for 3D-style surround sound. The JVC TH-BA1 has a total of 220 watts, with the added bonus of a wireless subwoofer.

If you're looking for a little more from a slick package, the Polk SurroundBar 360 is actually a complete system, adding a DVD/CD player into the package. Polk uses eight drivers to deliver 360-degree sound, Polk's PowerPort Bass Venting System, and the company's patented SDA Surround Technology. Check out what else we had to say about it in our Polk SurroundBar 360 review.

From what we can see, Amazon is also offering free super-saver shipping with each of the items. To get free shipping as well as the discount prices, just make sure you purchase the products from Amazon and not any of the site's third-party merchants.
