Black Friday Speaker Deals: Jawbone JAMBOX Wireless Bluetooth Speaker: $129.99 (save $70)

By Chris Boylan

Smart phones and tablets have become veritable portable media powerhouses, but their built-in speakers are usually pretty weak.  Fortunately there are aftermarket solutions that can add some BIG SOUND to that picture.  One of the best portable speakers we've seen is the JAMBOX by Jawbone.  It supports a wireless Bluetooth connection, or a standard wired one, and can add surprisingly full sound to your portable device from a tiny little package.  But the list price ($199.99) is a bit steep for many holiday gift-giving budgets.

Fortunately Amazon has a great deal going on right now on the JAMBOX. Instead of the $200 list price, you can score one for $129.99, with free shipping. Without further ado, here's the link:

The JAMBOX makes a great gift for family and friends (or even for yourself).  If you're a road warrior, you'll love the tiny form factor (5.95 x 2.25 x 1.60 inches) and light weight (12 ounces).  It slides right into a small computer bag or backpack. And the wireless Bluetooth connectivity means you won't need to pack any extra cables.  A standard 3.5mm input (and cable) comes with it in case you'd prefer a direct wired connection to your device via the headphone output.

The JAMBOX is available in 4 different colors so you can express your inner... colorfulness.

The speaker comes with an AC adapter, and can also recharge from a standard microUSB port (cable included).  The JAMBOX will last for up to 10 hours on a single charge.

What's in the box?
  • Jawbone JAMBOX
  • microUSB charging cable (12.5 inches)
  • 3.5mm stereo cable (36 inches)
  • carrying case
  • AC adapter
  • user guide

I'm too sexy for my speaker.
