Cyber Monday Videogame Deal: XBox One S or PS4 Console/Game Bundle Now $212.49 ($87.50 Off)

By Chris Boylan

With great graphics and a powerful processor, the Microsoft XBox One S continues to be a popular next gen video game console. Sony's latest offering, the PS4 also offers powerful graphics and a great game selection. And now they both got a little cheaper. On Cyber Monday (11/28/16), while supplies last the XBOX One S or Sony PS4 are available on Amazon for $212.49 ($87.50 Off) with one controller and one game. As usual, either is available with free expedited shipping for Amazon Prime members. Here are the links:

Think you might need more storage? You can pick up the 1TB (one terabyte) console bundle for XBox for $50 more, with Gears of War or Battlefield One. But you can also just pick up an external USB hard drive for either version and add storage when you need it. Here's a white one that would match the XBox one with 4TB of storage for only $129.

Which game bundle should you buy for the XBox One? The Battlefield One game for XBox One (on its own) sells for about $30 more than Minecraft. And that's the bundle that's discounted all the way down to $212.49. So technically that bundle is the better value. But if the person you're buying it for is too young for shooting games, or just really loves Minecraft, then that bundle probably makes more sense, even though it's a bit more expensive. That's the version I'm getting my son (and I sure hope he doesn't read this article). :)

The XBox One S is available with Battlefield One or Minecraft for $249 starting on Thanksgiving Day.

Which console should you buy? That's a question we hear pretty often. The two consoles are both excellent, and have many of the same games. But the XBox One also doubles as a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc player with support for HDR (High Dynamic Range) so you can get your movies in the absolute highest quality possible without having to buy a separate Ultra HD Blu-ray player.

And if you get the digital download version of the XBox One games, many will also play on any Windows 10 PC or laptop so you get more gaming choices without paying for a separate PC version of the game.
