Designed for fun in the sun and surf, the latest from Ultimate Ears is a pint-sized, waterproof Bluetooth speaker that's built to go anywhere. Yes, even in the pool. The Wonderboom is IPX7 rated, which means it can be immersed in water up to one meter for up to 30 minutes. It's also drop-proof from up to five feet. That doesn't just mean it can be tossed around in the pool. If the Wonderboom gets dirty, you can just rinse it off.
Of course, portability and pool time are nice, but how does it operate? Ultimate Ears claims the Wonderboom can deliver 360 degrees of crisp, loud sound with ease. The speaker offers play, pause, and skip controls, as well as the option to pair two speakers together.
Other features include a rechargeable battery that boasts up to 10 hours of playback, a 100-foot wireless Bluetooth range, and a hanging loop so the speaker can clip onto a backpack, bicycle, or anywhere else you want to put it.
