Although we have not yet done a full review of this HDTV, we've set up and calibrated one of these sets and put it through its paces with some pretty demanding test material, and it has impressed us with its deep blacks and jaw-dropping high definition detail.  And we're not the only ones who like it.  Consumer Reports rated it the best television they've ever tested in their most recent round-up of HDTVs.  And CNET rated its larger and smaller brethren an "excellent" 8.0 out of 10.   

The TH-50PZ700U's anti-reflective screen coating is effective at minimizing room reflections and its full HD 1920x1080 pixel panel is a perfect match for 1080i broadcast HDTV or 1080p movies on Blu-ray Disc.  The set sports Panasonic's sleek all-black frame, 2 HDMI connections, 2 component video inputs and a PC (VGA 15-pin) input.
