Samsung PN58B550 58-inch1080p Plasma HDTV: $1499 Shipped
Want to add a little color to your home entertainment setup? Of course, a big, beautiful plasma might do the trick. Samsung's PN58B550 plasma is pretty, as well as pretty affordable. Circuit City just announced a deal that will knockĀ $799 off the usual price. Here is the link:
You'll have to use the coupon code WPM1021 to get that price, which also includes free shipping.
However, this unit's lifelike 1080p picture isn't the only thing that's stare-worthy. The 58-inch HDTV is also part of Samsung's Touch of Color line, which means the bezel is kind of pretty on its own. This one offers a hint of clear-to-charcoal gray naturally blended into the traditional piano black frame.
Other features include a 2,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, side A/V connections, a Game Mode, four HDMI ports, and Anynet+ support, which lets you control up to 12 Samsung devices with your Samsung TV remote.
If you want to kick things up and have another $300 to spend, Circuit City is also offering Samsung's PN58B650 58-inch plasma for $1799 shipped. Here is that link:
You'll need coupon code GXT1030 to claim that price. Otherwise, this set is very similar to the PN58B550, except for a few key differences. Instead of grey, the PN58B650 incorporates a super-slick red into the bezel. It's also got Medi@2.0 access, which allows you to click through eBay, Flickr, Twitter and a ton of other web-based content.
Of course, the offers above won't last forever, so you'd better order quick. If they don't run out of stock first, Circuit City says the coupon codes will only work through the end of this week.
