Samsung LN46B640 46-inch 1080p HDTV: $999 on Thursday

By Rachel Cericola

Best Buy has posted its doorbuster specials, which start at stores around the country on Friday, November 27 at 5:00 a.m. However, here's an interesting little tidbit that we noticed in smaller print -- many of the sweetest deals will be available online on Thanksgiving day, long before lines start to form outside for the Black Friday mayhem.

Now, we're not 100% sure if products will be available before your first piece of pie or after your third. However, rumor has it that the offers will actually be going live *very* early in the morning (as in 1:00 or 2:00 AM) and there's at least one deal that's worth checking on: the Samsung LN46B640 1080p LCD HDTV for $999. Here is the link:

Aside from a 1080p picture, this 46-inch LCD boasts an 80,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, Auto Motion Plus 120Hz technology, and Samsung's spiffy Touch of Color design. Connect it to the web, and you've also got access to InfoLink, which features sports, stocks, weather and other RSS content at the touch of a button.

The ad says that you'll need a ticket to get the TV at the store or you can just kick back in your bunny slippers, click the TV gently into your virtual shopping cart, check out online and wait for it to show up at your doorstep. From the ad, it appears that Best Buy is not only offering free shipping, but also hook-up and recycling options for those wanting to junk an older unit.
