Redbox Touts Superiority of Blu-ray Disc with Better in Blu Sweepstakes

By Chris Boylan

Big Picture Big Sound has teamed up with Redbox to give away a fabulous prize to one lucky reader.  Today only (12/23/10), you can enter to win a Sony BDP-S370 networked Blu-ray Disc player as well as a year's supply of Blu-ray rentals from Redbox.  That's one free Blu-ray rental per week for a year.

As part of their overall "Better in Blu" campaign, Redbox is getting the word out about the superiority of Blu-ray over any other form of movie viewing at home.  Sure, Netflix streaming is convenient, but it doesn't compare to the picture and sound quality or the interactive capabilities of Blu-ray Disc.  Redbox is also reminding the public that many of the thousands of Redbox kiosks across the country now have Blu-ray Discs available for rent for $1.50 a night.  You can find Blu-ray-enabled redbox kiosks near you at www.redbox.com/bluray.

Redbox is sponsoring this giveaway on 31 popular web sites and blogs, throughout the holidays, each on a different day and Big Picture Big Sound got the nod for today: Thursday, December 23. The sweepstakes is open to residents of the United States, age 18 or older (full rules are available on the entry page).
