Plasma Deal: Panasonic 50-inch TC-P50U50 1080p VIERA HDTV: $649.99 shipped

By Rachel Cericola

Everyone loves a good bargain. We know a few of you out there that would have no problem clipping coupons for cereal, cookies and household items. Why wouldn't you do the same when it comes to buying an HDTV?

Well, Dell has a little coupon -- but it doesn't require the Sunday paper and a pair of scissors. Instead, just type the coupon code during your checkout process and you'll end up saving a little extra on an already discounted HDTV.

That HDTV is the Panasonic 50-inch TC-P50U50 1080p VIERA Plasma. This oh-so-pretty plasma HDTV typically sells for $899.99. However, Dell currently has it priced at $200 less. However, if you add the coupon code FZ6P465T$WTH9G during your checkout, you will knock another $50 off that price. That makes the price it a cool $649.99, which also includes free shipping right to your front door. Find out more about the price and this plasma on Dell's product page:

As part of the U50 Series, the TC-P50U50 doesn't have 3D effects or web-based streaming features. Instead, it's just a really good HDTV. It does have a 1080p resolution, though, which means you'll get full high-def with this discount. Other features include Panasonic's fast-switching phosphors, two HDMI inputs and one USB port.

Just remember to use the coupon code FZ6P465T$WTH9G during your checkout, if you want to get the absolute lowest price on this HDTV. However, you'd better do that soon; this offer (and the coupon) will expire on October 17, 2012, or whenever Dell runs out of stock on the set.
