Today is the day to buy an HDTV! Of course, we mean if you're looking for a good deal on one. The latest in our day of deals comes courtesy of Amazon. We just found the retailer offering Panasonic's 50-inch 1080p TC-P50G25 plasma HDTV for under $1000, with free shipping thrown in.
This 50-inch plasma offers a full 1080p HD picture, as well as a new panel with NeoPDP technology built in. This boasts a better, brighter image as well as enhanced energy efficiency over previous models. THX must agree, since this is a THX Certified Display. Other features include a 600Hz Sub-field Drive, Infinite Black panel, the VIERA Image Viewer for photo slideshows, a Game Mode, and Panasonic's own VIERA Link which enables multi-device control from your TV remote.
