New Olive O6HD Music Server Comes with Free Trip to San Francisco

By Ian White

Hot on the heels of their $999 O3HD music server which was launched recently, comes a brand new state-of-the-art music server from the folks at Olive Media. The O6HD music server, which will be unveiled at the end of November, has a really impressive looking DAC; 24-bit fully balanced differential and a dedicated 24-bit/192 kHz 1792 DAC for headphone use. There is also a dedicated linear power supply for the analog output stage with a custom-built toroidal transformer.

Olive Media has incorporated a number of other really unique and high-end features into the O6HD music server, but they are keeping their mouths sealed for the time being. They plan on releasing the information in little bits over the next few weeks on their web site.  The most fascinating part of the release of the O6HD is the sweet offer for the first 20 who pre-order one.

Have you ever travelled to San Francisco? Home of the recently crowned World Series champs (that would be the Giants) and soon-to-be former Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi? San Francisco is a truly wonderful town with some excellent places to eat and shop.
