Monster Debuts Headphones for Everyone - Even UFC Fans

By Rachel Cericola

Monster is still cranking out headphones -- a whole lot of headphones. The company unleashed a boatload of portable options earlier today and if you can't find something that you like, you just aren't looking very hard.

First up is theĀ Monster DNA PRO 2.0, the latest in the DNA lineup. This model has new custom-designed drivers that can deliver just about every type of music you'll ever want to hear. It promises to do everything from booming hip hop and smooth jazz to detailed classical, smashing alternative, and much more. Other features include triangular-shaped ear cups, noise isolation, and proprietary Pure Monster Sound.

Each pair of DNA PRO 2.0 headphones is also made for sharing music, via dual-port inputs that allow up to five headphones to connect at once. Monster DNA PRO 2.0 will start shipping in August, priced at $329.95.

Next up is the Country Color collection, a collaboration between Monster and adidas Originals. The limited-edition collection is available in four color combinations: yellow/green/black, white/red, blue/red/white, and green/red. Each over-ear model has MusicShare dual audio input jacks, a foldable design for travel, noise isolation, and Pure Monster Sound. Each one also has an MSRP of $299.95.

For travelers, Monster is making the Inspiration Lite on-ear model. This sleeker version of the current Inspiration line comes in the iPhone-inspired "Space Gray" and "Rose Gold" color schemes, each with a $269.95 price tag. Also worth noting is that each one has an interchangeable headband to match your mood or outfit. This model works with the same Monster Inspiration headbands and styles currently available for the original Inspiration model. Other features include 30mm drivers, MusicShare, passive noise isolation, pillow-soft ear cups, and a new travel case. Inspiration Lite models also have ControlTalk Universal cables for use with any device.

Last, but certainly not least: Are you ready to get into the octagon? Maybe not, but you can at least sport Monster's new Special Edition In-Ear iSport Octagon headphones. Designed for all of you Ultimate Fighting Championship fans, this model is perfect for any type of movement (you know, exercise?), with a custom in-ear fit audio seal, a variety of ear tips, and the OmniTip rotating ear pipe for acoustic isolation. Pricing for the Special Edition iSport Octagon headphones has yet to be announced, but the over-ear model is selling now for $299.95.
