Monster Announces New Miles Davis Tribute Licensed Headphones

The latest in their wildly successful line of high-performance, musician-branded headphones, Monster's new limited edition "Miles Davis Tribute" in-ear headphones will be the world's first audio hardware product to officially bear the name of the legendary trumpeter. Created in conjunction with Miles Davis Properties, LLC, the new headphones are being offered in an individually numbered series.

Miles Davis Tribute headphones feature an eye-catching gold/brass finish inspired by the trumpet played by the late artist, with Davis' silhouette and gold-etched signature on the earpiece. The color-coordinated cord, meanwhile, is... "kind of blue." (Someone over at Monster is having a little too much fun.) The Miles Davis Tribute headphones come with the same generous guarantee as Monster's new Turbine Pro In-Ears: not just a warranty against manufacturing defects but a one-use Lifetime Replacement at no charge, even if the consumer breaks the product.

Included with purchase will be the official 50th anniversary two-CD-plus-DVD boxed set of the artist's landmark album, Kind of Blue. The headphones also ship with multiple sizes of the new interchangeable high-performance "SuperTip" eartips for superior comfort and noise isolation, and an on-cable slider/clip that keeps weight off the headphones so they remain snug in the ears. An accompanying musical instrument-style carrying case features a plush blue velvet inlay with gold-printed signature.

Although no firm date has been announced, we might see Miles Davis Tribute headphones in time for holiday gift giving. The price is $399.99, and pre-ordering is open at Amazon.com via the link below.
