Klipsch Shows Its Synergy with New Speaker Line

By Peter Suciu

Proving once again that it knows the meaning of "synergy" global speaker manufacturer Klipsch has introduced its newly re-engineered line of home audio speakers. The new Synergy Series speaker line features cutting-edge technology advancements across eight refreshed models.

The B-20 utilizes an efficient design to produce more output using less energy.

The Synergy Series, which was first introduced in 1997, has gotten a refresh with the latest high frequency components, new network structure, updated voicing and most strikingly a new contemporary look. The line features proprietary Tractrix Horn technology, where each speaker provides precision, clarity and effortless power.

The eight new models include three floorstanding towers: the F-30, F-20 and F-10; one bookshelf model, the B-20; two center channels: the C-20 and C-10; and two surround speakers: S-20 and S-10. The latter include Klipsch's exclusive Wide Dispersion Surround Technology (WDST), which provides maximum coverage and placement flexibility.

The F-30 can fill a large room with lifelike reproduction of music and film.

All eight speakers feature lightweight yet rigid IMG woofer cones for tight, musical bass response, while the Tractix horn tweeters incorporate Linear Travel Suspension with aluminum diaphragm compression drivers. Together these work to reduce distortion and produce clear high frequencies.

"The new Synergy speakers' lifelike and dynamic sound helps enthusiasts rediscover their favorite artists and movies," said Mark Casavant, vice president of product development for Klipsch. "With this new series, we are thrilled to offer users an even higher level of the renowned Klipsch sound performance at nearly the same price points as before."

The new Klipsch Synergy Series are available in modern black ash vinyl veneer with gray accents, and these speakers are available now at retail.
