Home Theater Speaker Deals: Mirage Nanosat 5.1-Channel System: Half Price ($399.95)

By Rachel Cericola

Mirage makes some very nice speakers. Of course, they are also pretty pricey. It's easy to assume that you'd never be able to snag a pair of Mirage speakers. However, six Mirage speakers? Well, Amazon wants to make that happen.

Right now, Amazon has the Mirage Nanosat 5.1 Speaker System listed for just $399.95. This is a full home theater speaker setup, which normally has a list price of $799.99. This discount means that you'll save exactly 50 percent off cost. It even includes free shipping. Find out more about this deal and this speaker set on Amazon's product page:

The size of the speakers included in this set is probably the first thing that will catch your eye. However, it's how they sound that will (literally) blow you away. The key here is that the Nanosat system can create an open transparent sound. Instead of knowing where every sound is coming from, the Nanosat delivers a seamless listening experience. It's impressive for any set of speakers, let alone ones that are about the size of a softball.

The set comes with five of those compact speakers. The size means that they should be easy to place anywhere, and still deliver an immersive 360-degree pattern. Each of the speakers packs in a 2.75-inch titanium deposit polypropylene cone woofer and a 0.75-inch pure titanium hybrid tweeter. To complete the package, the Nanosat system has an 8-inch, 75-watt RMS powered subwoofer.

When ordering this speaker package, make sure that you buy directly from Amazon (not one of the retailer's third-party merchants). They are the ones offering this discount, which also includes the free shipping. There's no word on how long this deal will last. However, at this price, they probably won't last long. Enjoy!
