HDTV Deals: Sharp 50-inch 1080p 120Hz LED TV: Net $399.99 After eGift Card

By Rachel Cericola

There are big HDTVs and there are cheap HDTVs. Rarely do we find an HDTV where both adjectives apply. However, every once in a while, a deal comes along on a big HDTV that's too good to pass up. That day is today.

We found a really big HDTV for really cheap. And when we say "cheap," we certainly don't mean the quality. Dell is currently selling Sharp's 50-inch LC-50LE440U 1080p LED HDTV for just $699.99. However, they're also throwing in a $300 gift card with each purchase. That's like getting this big HDTV for $399.99.

Of course, you have to pay the $699.99 first. However, that gift card is certainly a nice little freebie. The TV is really nice as well.

This isn't a 3D TV or one with web streaming features. However, you can easily use that gift card to buy a Blu-ray player to go with your new HDTV. The LC-50LE440U has three HDMI inputs, component inputs, and a PC port to add in other AV essentials. It also a 1080p HD image, which means you'll be watching movies, sports and even The Voice, all in full high-def. Other features include energy-efficient edge-lit LED backlighting and Sharp's 60Hz anti-glare LCD panel. Find out more about this set and this offer on Dell's website:

At last peek, Dell was offering to ship this HDTV for free. And on the off-chance that you aren't happy with your purchase (ha!), the company also offers free returns. According to Dell, this offer will expire on May 5, 2013. However, we're guessing at this price with this freebie, the set will sell out soon. Better snag one before Dell runs out of stock!
