If you're looking to take your music to a very private place, Panasonic has started rocking out a new crop of headphones for 2012. The company just came out with details for six different models, with styles ranging from earbud to monitor to noise-cancelling models. All of them seem to have one thing in common: affordability.

At the top of the 2012 heap is the RP-HC200 noise-cancelling model. Featuring an over-ear design and soft headpad, the RP-HC200 promises to reduce outside noise by 81 percent (14dB) at 200Hz. Boasting 60 hours of playtime on a single AAA battery, the RP-HC200 can fold flat for travel. It's available now in black, white, green and yellow, with an MSRP of $79.99.

For the budding DJ, Panasonic is introducing the RP-DJS200. The RP-DJS200 includes Neodymium rare-earth magnets, reversible ear cups, a travel-fold design, and adjustable headpiece. Light on your head and your wallet, this set is priced at $29.99.

It also has an ErgoFit Design and a cord adjuster for a comfortable fit. The RP-HJE295 is similar, but promises deep base and a long flexible earpiece. The last of the new earbud models is the RP-HJE140. Featuring a funky L-shaped design, this model boasts a comfy fit and good noise isolation. Available now in white/orange, blue/light blue, green/yellow, red/orange, black/grey and white/grey, the RP-HJE140 has an MSRP of $19.99.
