This tablet features 10.5 inches of Super AMOLED screen, which has a 2560 x 1600 WQXGA resolution. This is twice the resolution of an HDTV. It also has auto-adjusting brightness levels to make the picture perfect no matter where you're viewing it.
This lightweight model also includes a Multi User Mode, so that you don't have to share settings with other members of your household. Instead, your personalized tablet experience can be accessed using the device's fingerprint scanner. There's also a Kids Mode with parental controls, as well as security features that allow you to access the controls on a child's tablet with a swipe of your finger.
Other features include Multi-window for multitasking on one screen, the Android 4.4 Kit Kat OS, a 1.9GHz Exynos 5 Octa 5420 processor, 16GB of flash memory, and 3GB of RAM. Also worth mentioning is that this tablet has an 8-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash and a 2.1-megapixel front camera for video selfies, Skype, and other video calling apps.

If your tablet tastes are a bit simpler, but you still want that Samsung panache, Amazon also has the Galaxy Tab 4 on sale: 7-inch for $139.99, 8-inch for $179.99 and 10.1 inch for $229.99, all in white (black version available for a little more). These use a less powerful quad core processor, use LED/LCD screens (instead of that gorgeous AMOLED on the Tab S) and do not include the multi-app window capabilities.
