Cyber Monday Home Theater Receiver Deal: Denon AVR-X4000 Net $899 After Promo Credit

By Rachel Cericola

A receiver is not something you should jump into lightly. After all, a receiver serves as the brain for your entire home theater setup. Everything from the TV to the speakers to the Roku box is connected to this one component.

If you've been waiting to buy a new receiver, you're about to be rewarded. Amazon is currently running a deal that will give you $400 in credit when you buy the Denon AVR-X4000 7.2-channel Ultra HD 4K Networking Home Theater AV Receiver. That product name isn't half as lengthy as its list of features, which we'll get into in a minute.

Just know that this awesome receiver is currently priced at $1299.99. However, Amazon will credit your account $400 within 7 days of the ship date. That's like paying $899.99 for this high-end receiver! Find out more about this deal on Amazon's promotion page:

The AVR-X4000 includes 125 watts for each of its seven channels and 4K Ultra HD upscaling. Also worth noting is that this model has support for Apple AirPlay, so you can stream audio wirelessly to the receiver from any networked iOS device, as well as a Mac and/or PC running iTunes.

Other features include additional web-streaming perks, digital multi-zone functionality, Audyssey DSX and DTS Neo:X processing, and the option to add a separate power amp in case you're interested in creating a 9.2 setup. It also has Audyssey MultEQ XT32 and Audyssey Sub EQ HT Dual subwoofer EQ calibration, seven HDMI inputs and three HDMI ouputs. Find out more on Amazon's product page:

To take advantage of this promotion, you must place your receiver order through Amazon - and not one of the online retailers third-party merchants. Amazon is offering the promotional credit, as well as free shipping. The offer is good through today, December 2, 2013. However, Amazon does reserve the right to change or terminate the promotion at any time, so you better act fast. Also be aware that the promotional credit does expire on March 31, 2014.
