Cyber Monday 2014 is tomorrow - the biggest day for online sales, particularly on electronics items. But Best Buy likes to go early with their Cyber Monday deals. Most of them are already available today. This includes one of the hottest items on many shoppers' holiday gift lists: a curved Ultra HD 4K TV.
Best Buy has Samsung 55-inch UN55HU7250 Curved 4K Ultra HD TV on sale today for $1299.99. That's about $900 off the list price. Here's the link:
It's got 4K Ultra HD resolution (3840 x 2160 resolution) which means four times the detail a 1080p HDTV. It also offers UHD Upscaling to add extra detail to your HD content like Blu-ray Discs and even standard def DVDs.
Samsung says the curve makes your viewing experience more immersive. We're not so sure about that but it does make it look dead sexy.
This model features Samsung's Ultra Clear Panel and UHD Dimming for deeper black levels and better overall picture quality. It's a 120 Hz panel but takes advantage of Samsung's Clear Motion processing for a Clear Motion Rate of 960. This means it's very good at reproducing fast moving images.
The HU7250 also comes with Samsung's Smart Hub streaming services and apps like Netflix (in 4K!), VUDU, Pandora, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video and HULU+. It features a powerful quad-core processor and even a full web browser so you can surf the web from your couch on a screen a little bigger than your phone or tablet.
Other features on this UHD TV include built-in WiFi, voice recognition, motion/gesture control (with an optional camera), and Smart View 2.0 screen mirroring. And you won't run out of HDMI ports as this one's got four of them.
