The IDW booth at Comic-Con was swarmed on Friday afternoon as "X-Files" fanatics and comics collectors eagerly stood in line for a signing event featuring the con-exclusive release of the "X-Files: Season 10" variant cover issue. Series creator Chris Carter was on hand, joined by star Gillian Anderson (Agent Dana Scully) and cast member Dean Haglund (Langly of "The Lone Gunmen").
The trio had just wrapped a successful panel during which they discussed how the groundbreaking series, which ran for nine seasons on Fox, will be resurrected in comics form. Also on hand were writer Joe Harris and artist Joe Corroney.
The issue being signed was available solely at IDW's Comic-Con booth, with a limited run of 500 copies. The cost was listed as $10, but for fans of the hugely popular series, the chance to revisit Mulder and Scully - not to mention getting signatures from Mr. Carter and Ms. Anderson - is no doubt considered priceless.
