Samsung recently made headlines by announcing the PN50C490, the first 3D TV to sell for under $1000. As if the price point weren't interesting enough, Amazon is turning the set into even more of a bargain by throwing in two free pairs of 3D glasses (a $300 value) with every purchase.

If you're looking for a 3D TV, Samsung's 50-inch PN50C490 plasma is very nice for the price. It boasts a 720p image (technically, 1366x768 pixels), with support for 1080p sources, as well as a rated 2,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and three HDMI 1.4 jacks. Other noteworthy features include ConnectShare Movie, which basically allows for video playback through the TV's USB port.
