With SONOS, you can easily access your own digital music files or set up playlists from music services such as Spotify, Deezer or Amazon Prime Music (among others). You can also access streaming music services such as Pandora and Internet Radio in case you'd like someone else to play DJ. Note that some of these services do charge a monthly fee for access.
We have a PLAY:1 in our kitchen and another in our bathroom. Now we can listen to an Amazon prime playlist or NPR or Radio Paradise in the morning or play music throughout the house for a party.
