Amazon to Best Buy and WalMart on Black Friday Ads, "Bring it On!"

By Big Picture Big Sound Deal Meister

Consumers aren't the only ones hunting the Black Friday ads for bargains this week.  Amazon is also browsing the Black Friday ads from the likes of WalMart, Best Buy and others.  And while these Brick and Mortar giants will also offer a fair share of their Black Friday deals online, Amazon has vowed to offer Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals that are at least as good or better than those by its largest competitors in the Brick and Mortar retail business.

And many of these deals will be available on Amazon.com well before we pass out in a turkey-induced coma on Thanksgiving day, let alone gas up the car on Friday for a possibly perilous trip to the mall.

After all, Amazon doesn't have the overhead of all those expensive retail leases and salespeople.  It's a web site. OK it's a pretty fancy web site supported by an advanced supply chain system and fulfillment centers all over the country.  But at this point, Amazon is a finely tuned and well-oiled discount machine more than capable of giving the big chains a run for their money.

To this end, Amazon has launched their own Black Friday Week of Deals event where they vow to match or beat the best deals from the competition as well as offering their own special deals not available anywhere else.

Kicking it off today is a special offer on Polk Audio's SurroundBar 360 DVD Home Theater for $399.99 ($800 below list), as well as other deals like over 200 Blu-ray Discs for under $10, and special combo offers like a free TiVo HD recorder with the purchase of select Panasonic 1080p HDTVs.

Check out all of Amazon's Black Friday deals on electronics and make sure to check back often as new time-limited deals will be offered multiple times a day
