This one is part of the company's VIERA line, but it doesn't have some of the VIERA perks. It does feature VIERA Image Viewer so you can plug your camera's SD card into the front panel SD slot for an instant slide show.  It also features VIERA Link support so you can control multiple devices from the TV's remote, but you'll miss out on the extra web-based content the more expensive models get via VIERA Cast.

So no YouTube or Amazon VOD on your TV? Oh well. You can always add those features and much more with an inexpensive Blu-ray player.  Now that you know what you won't get, let's talk about what you will get. Um, yes... a big, beautiful 58-inch 1080p picture is a good thing.
