The KDS-50A3000 features Sony's proprietary SXRD (Silicon X-Tal Reflective Display) technology which gives it a Full HD 1080p (1920x1080) resolution. The HDTV offers built-in ATSC, NTSC and QAM (digital cable) tuners, 3 HDMI and 2 component video inputs, as well as composite and S-video inputs. You can also hook up any PC either via the included standard VGA port (db15) or via HDMI if your PC supports DVI-D or HDMI digital output.

To get the best picture, the set features Sony's advanced video processing technology including Motionflow 120Hz High Frame Rate Technology, x.v.Color technology and BRAVIA Engine EX Video Processor.
