A Sylvania Blu-ray player for $129.99 was one of the early Gold Box specials during High Def week. What will be next?

If you haven't yet gone high definition, or even if you have, Amazon is offering a week of high def deals, with amazing savings on HDTVs, Blu-ray Disc players and movies, speakers, home theater receivers and accessories for your home theater system. These deals are available in two forms: Lightning deals, which last up to four hours (depending on stock) and Gold Box Deals, which last a full day (again, depending on stock).  There's even a home theater "deal of the week," which is a $400 Velodyne powered subwoofer on sale for $189.99 including shipping (that's 52% below list!). 

Today's Lightning deals include a high-end Logitech Harmony 890 remote control for $120 (60% below list), and a Sylvania Blu-ray player for $129.99 (35% below list). Today's Gold Box deal includes multiple products with savings of 50% or more on Definitive Technology Speakers and 33% off on an HDMI-switching home theater receiver from Denon. 

Update: Deal of the Day for Thursday, June 11th is a PS3 (PlayStation 3) for $349.99 delivered!

So keep an eye on Amazon this week for some killer deals on all things high definition, both video and audio.
