The BDP-S350 is a fully-featured player with support for both Bonus View and BD-Live (BD-ROM spec. 2.0).  In addition to BD-Live the player's network port can also be used to download firmware upgrades as they become available, something that is not so simple on a BD-ROM 1.1 spec player with no networking capabilities.  Do keep in mind that you will need a USB flash memory card at least 1 GB in size in order to use the BD-Live features.
