Best Buy's Thanksgiving/Black Friday sale is now in full swing, at least online.  And if you're looking for a big flat panel 1080p HDTV with great contrast and color, with a Blu-ray Player thrown in for good measure, then it's hard to do any better than their latest HDTV/Blu-ray bundle.

They're pairing up Panasonic's 50-inch TC-P50U1 1080p plasma HDTV with Panasonic's DMP-BD60 Blu-ray player.  And the whole package is available for under $1000 - that's $500 below the regular package price.  Get it while it lasts:

The TV features Panasonic's latest 1080p panel with full 1920x1080 pixel resolution, 600 Hz sub-field drive, 30,000:1 native contrast ("2,000,000:1 dynamic contrast"), and 3 HDMI inputs.  Its built-in ATSC/QAM tuner allows you to tune in your local HDTV and DTV channels without a cable box.

The DMP-BD60 Blu-ray Disc player is fully BD-Live capable (just insert an inexpensive SD memory card).  It offers VIERA Cast connectivity so you can watch YouTube, Picasa and Amazon Video on Demand right on the player.  And it offers on-board decoding of the latest surround sound formats: Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio.

Why wait in line for a no-name brand TV on Black Friday when you can have a Panasonic for peanuts?
