Heading to CES 2012? Look out for these Celebrity Photo Opps

By Rachel Cericola

One of the great things about the annual Consumer Electronics Show is that you never know what you'll see out on the show floor. Even better, you never know who you'll see out on the show floor. CES is actually full of celebrities, and we've got your guide to getting the best celebrity photo ops.

The event will kick off on Tuesday, January 10 with Qualcomm's keynote address and a performance by Jabbawockeez, the all-male, hip-hop dance crew. The winners of MTV's America's Best Dance Crew and headliner at the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino will perform during the company's keynote, which starts at 8:30 a.m. at the Venetian's Palazzo Ballroom.

Actress and super-hottie Eliza Dushku will serve as the Entertainment Matters Ambassador for CES this year. Representing Hollywood's film, television and digital communities, this is the Entertainment Matters program's second year.

As part of her ambassador duties, Dushku will be part of Spike TV's CES All Access Live broadcast on Tuesday, January 10 from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. If you miss the former star of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Dollhouse during the day, you may get a chance to brush up against her (literally) at the VIP CES party later that evening at the Wynn's Tryst Nightclub.

If you prefer a good ass-kicking, celebrity trainer Jillian Michaels will be available in the CES TechZone FitnessTech in North Hall's N256, on Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. Michaels will talk about digital innovation in the fitness field, as well as her recent partnership with BodyMedia, an on-body monitor company.

Right after, you can run over to Haier, which will be located in Central Hall's booth 9826. NBA legend and current sports commentator Robert Horry will be there on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m. At the same time on Wednesday, Haier will welcome another NBA great, John Salley. If you prefer the kitchen to the court, Haier is going to have Allison Fishman, cookbook author and creator of The Wooden Spoon cooking school, do a few cooking demos on Tuesday from 10:00 am. to 5:00 p.m. and Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

On Tuesday afternoon, rapper, media-mogul and upcoming audio king 50 Cent will start his three-day stint of signing autographs at the SMS Audio booth, located at the LVCC's South Hall in booth 20818. He will be there on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. each day to meet fans. He'll also talk up his headphone line at TechCrunch at the AOL Studio (LVCC, Grand Lobby) on Wednesday, January 11 from 12:00 to 12:30 p.m.

For someone a little prettier, Teresa Scanlan, better known as Miss America 2011, will be walking the show floor from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 10. Just look for the one wearing the sash and crown!

Panasonic will have Bond, James Bond -- or at least celebrate 50 years of the cinema icon, via Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment's second annual Directors' Panel. Located at Panasonic's Central Hall location in booth 9806, the event will be held on Tuesday, January 10 at 1:30 p.m. Expect to see acclaimed directors John Glen (For Your Eyes Only, Octopussy, A View to a Kill, The Living Daylights, License to Kill), Martin Campbell (GoldenEye, Casino Royale) and Michael Apted (The World Is Not Enough) discuss Bond and how technology has transformed the art of filmmaking. Of course, what's Bond without a few Bond girls? Olga Kurylenko (Quantum of Solace) and Caterina Murino (Casino Royale) will be there as well, with a few iconic props from the franchise.

On Tuesday, January 10 around 2:00 p.m, LL Cool J will be in the house to present Boomdizzle on the CNET stage in the South Hall Lobby. Later that afternoon, he will make a second appearance at the Dolby Booth in the Central Hall, booth 8153. The rap icon and star of TV hit NCIS: Los Angeles will be there at 4:00 p.m. to demo his Boomdizzle track, streaming it from a Dolby technology-enabled laptop to a full home-theater surround sound system.

A company called iHip is hoping that attendees will turn out to meet Nicole Polizzi -- who you probably know better as Snooki. The pint-sized star of MTV's Jersey Shore will be at the South Hall in booth 21920 on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Later that night, she will also host at iHip party at the Gallery at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

Also on hand at the party will be New York Giants legend and Superbowl champion Carl Banks, along with Jose "Hyde" Cotto, Mas Flow, "El Verdadero Quimico," Luny Tunes and DJ Nelson. Banks will be at the iHip booth on Wednesday, January 11, with the rest of the crew coming along on Thursday, January 12.

If you start to feel a little under the weather on Wednesday, January 11, you may just have a case of Beiber fever. Megastar Justin Bieber will be at the show to help TOSY unveil a new entertainment robot. He's scheduled for Wednesday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Robotics TechZone of the South Hall's ground level (booths 21964, 21968, 22064, 22066 and 22068). You can probably just follow the girlie screams to find him.

TV stars Greg Grunberg (Heroes) and Wayne Brady (Let's Make a Deal) will join OnStar for their Tweet House sessions on Wednesday, January 11 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Look for them in the North Hall at booth N254. Both will also be available to party later that night at the "It Won't Stay in Vegas" party at the Stirling Club from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

The big party, of course, will be Monster's annual Retailer Awards and Concert, on Wednesday, January 11 at the Paris Hotel. The legendary band Chicago will go on after the awards, which start at 8:45 p.m.

On the last day, sports fans will get the chance to shake hands with basketball legend Dennis Rodman. Rodman will be promoting the online service Paltalk on Thursday, January 12 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. Look for him in the company's booth, which is located in South Hall, booth 26915.

There will be plenty of other famous faces as well! Look for include model Jamie Michelle, who will be at Powerbass USA in the North Hall, booth 920. She will appear Tuesday, January 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m.

MMA and UFC king Alistair Overeem will be at Qualcomm in the South Hall in booth 30313 on Tuesday and Wednesday at 2:00 p.m., and Thursday at 12:00 p.m.

Recording artist Jordan Rudess will be at iConnectivity's booth (North Hall, booth 3922) at 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday; 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday; and 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Friday.

Last, but not least, an Australian supergroup, featuring drummer Andy Fisenden, bass, guitarist and vocalist Simon Fisenden and bass player Dane Alderton, will appear in Audiofly's South Hall location (booth 26728) at 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day. Also look for renowned graffiti artist "The Yok" to be at the booth throughout the show.

The 2012 International CES, the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow, is scheduled to run from January 10 through 13, 2012, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
