Aperion Audio Offers SLIMstage30 Home Theater Soundbar/Subwoofer Package

By Rachel Cericola

We know that you've saved the biggest, baddest screen for your living room or home theater and we hope you've got sound to match the picture. But we'll bet you like to watch TV and movies or listen to music in other areas of your home as well.  And, to that end, Aperion Audio has unveiled ther SLIMstage30 Powered Soundbar.

Many homes are adding a flat-panel TV to the bedroom, basement, or other area of the house. It's obvious that you want a better viewing experience in those smaller areas, so why skimp on the sound ot limit yourself to the anemic-sounding speakers built into most TVs? Aperion's SLIMStage powered soundbar makes it easy to stuff theater-like sound right under any flat panel or projection screen.

The speaker measures 31 inches wide, 3.5 inches high and 3.75 inches deep, making it a nice complement, instead of a major distraction. The inside features Soundmatters' Linear Magnetic Drive speaker array, which is driven by 140 watts (RMS).  It offers digitaland analog audio inputs and includes built-in decoding for Dolby Digital and DTS Digital Surround. An easy-to-use settings menu also allows you to set the perfect sound for your specific room.

Aperion SLIMstage 30

The SLIMstage30 comes in two flavors: with or without a subwoofer. That sub is Aperion's Bravus 8A, which pumps 100 watts (RMS) of low-frequency power into any sized-setup. Choose the bundle for bass upstairs, and a stand-alone to keep the kids quiet in the basement. Without the subwoofer, the stand-alone SLIMstage30 runs $599. The subwoofer package is available for an extra $200. Both are available now directly from Aperion Audio.
