OLED TV Deals: Sony 4K OLED TVs at Lowest Prices We've Seen

By Chris Boylan

For a company that got out of the TV panel manufacturing game some time ago, Sony is still making some incredible TVs. How is that possible? Since it's widely acknowledged that OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) panels make the best TVs, Sony decided to buy OLED panels from LG and QD-OLED panels from Samsung instead of making their own. But Sony then adds their "secret sauce" - advanced video processing that makes good content look great and great content look incredible.

In addition to critical acclaim from sites like RTINGS, CNET and Wired, Sony OLED TVs have won the annual TV Shootout (hosted by Value Electronics) for two years running. The only problem? The price. Sony's OLED TVs are generally more expensive than competitive models, and are rarely discounted.

So when we saw Sony's current line-up of OLED TVs on sale as part of Amazon's Prime Early Access event, we got a little excited. Two weeks later (October 31), some of these deals are still live and one is even better than it first was. Pricing was updated on October 31.

All models offer full Ultra HD 4K resolution with HDR (High Dynamic Range) support. The sale includes OLED TVs from 48 inches up to 83 inches with models from the A80K OLED, A90K OLED, A90J OLED and A95K QD-OLED series.

In addition to the discounts at checkout, you can also get an additional 5% to 10% back after purchase if you pay using an Amazon store credit card. This can end up being a big chunk of change - potentially several hundred dollars of additional savings. Check out the details on the 10% cash back offer here.

Our favorite deal is on the 77-inch A80K OLED TV. This model is available currently for $2698 ($500 below list) and it also qualifies for 5% cash back deal if you pay with an Amazon store card. That means you'll end up paying around $2,563 after cash back for this gorgeously enormous (and enormously gorgeous) OLED TV. Free shipping is included in the price. Sales Tax will be added where necessary:

If you want to go even bigger, the 83-inch A90J model is also on sale, and eligible for 5% cash back. The 83-inch A90J 4K OLED TV is currently being offered for $4,798 which is $1,200 below its usual selling price and you can knock off an additional $249 in cash back if you pay using an Amazon card. This brings the net price down to $4,549 after cash back. This behemoth combines stunning picture quality with a massive screen size to bring a true cinematic experience to your living room:

Also notable is the newest top of the line model, the 65-inch A95K QD-OLED TV (model XR65A95K). This is the specific TV that won this year's 4K TV Shootout and Amazon currently has it discounted $1,000 from $3,998 to $2,998. Get an additional 5% back ($150) if you pay with an Amazon store card.

In addition to outstanding black levels, color saturation and color accuracy, Sony's OLED TVs feature extremely low input lag, making them a great choice for gamers (particularly gamers on Sony's own PS5 next generation console).

As always, Amazon reserves the right to change pricing at any time and sale pricing may be limited to stock on hand so if you've been waiting for the right time to buy a Sony OLED TV, now may very well be that time. We verified pricing and availability on October 31. 2022.
