Default play mp3 db-55 and th-42px60 and don't want list of songs on plasma ie: burn

    Using db-55 disc player
    Th-42px60 plasma
Denon 2803 set up 5.1 analog although could use 7.1
    Sound is fine
What I would like to eliminate when I play the cd is the
on screenlist of songs to prevent burn on the plasma.
How do I get around this? I should mention these are
    mp3's burned
Also should mention We have a Pvr and Hi def Bell
    satellite

    Aprreciate your help

Do you mean the Panasonic DMP-BD55 Blu-ray player? First of all, the TV isn't going to burn in just from having the track list up on the screen. It might get image retention but this will only be temporary. Set the TV to "cinema" or "movie" mode (or simply turn down the brightness and contrast) and you will reduce the possibility of image retention.

You could try turning the screensaver on, in the BD55's setup menu, but I'm not sure exactly what effect this has with MP3 CDs. Turn on the screensaver, wait a few minutes, and see what happens on screen (but don't touch the remote during this period).

Do you have a separate audio receiver or are you using the TV speakers for listening to music? If you have an audio receiver, then connect the player's HDMI output, or the optical or coax digital output, or the left/right analog stereo output into an available input on the receiver and turn off the TV completely when listening to music.

Last option (assuming you are using the TV's built-in speakers for sound) would be to use the BD55's analog stereo output (white red RCA cables) and plug it into an available input on the TV, and switch over to this input for listening to CDs. You might get a blue screen, but that won't hurt anything.

Honestly with all that nice gear, if you don't already have a home theater receiver and speakers or an HTiB system, you should get one. You're missing a significant part of the movie and HDTV watching experience using the crappy speakers built into the TV. If you do buy something, buy something with HDMI audio support so you can take full advantage of the newest surround sound codecs (Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio).

    Good luck!
