    BD35 to be Discontinue?

I read in the Blu-Ray forum the Panny BD35K will be discontinue? Have anybody heard about this? This player has only been out for a couple of months.

I have not heard any actual news or announcements to this effect but CES is just a couple of weeks away so we'll know more then.

It wouldn't make much sense to discontinue the BD35 already as it's been Panasonic's most popular selling BD player (by far) and I think it actually may be one of the top if not *the* top-selling standalone BD player overall (at least if the numbers we have seen from Amazon referral sales are indicative of overall trends). And, as you said, it has only been on the market since October.

More likely the stock shortages we're seeing right now are purely based on demand exceeding supply, and stock on the BD35 should be more plentiful soon.
