    BD35 SD Memory Card Help!

I need you guys expertise please!

My player is not currently connected to the internet. I have no interest in the BD Live feature. I have read in other forums that sometimes the player requires an SD memory Card if you are going to watch a movie that has BD Live content. My question is this: Is there's a difference speed wise between a High Speed Memory Card and a Regular SD Card when Loading BD Live movies?

    Thanks!

The only title of which I'm aware that will not play without an SD card inserted on the BD55/BD35 is "Starship Troopers" and really, this is a bug in the player or the title - there should be no requirement to have an SD card inserted if you do not plan to use BD-Live.

So if you're only planning to get an SD card so you can play "Starship Troopers" then any SD or SDHC card of 1 GB or larger is fine. For cards over 2GB in size, I believe it has to be SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity).

Panasonic's recommendation for BD-Live (and "virtual package") use is a speed class rating of 2 or higher and a card size of at least 1GB, but honestly I'd recommend at least a 4GB card - BD Live content can take up space quickly, particularly if you don't "clean up after yourself" by deleting the trailers, etc. after you download them. These days you can get a 4GB SDHC card for around $10. I paid $8.99 for a 6GB Panasonic Class 4 SDHC card at J&R.
