Default Question about Panny DMP-BD60

If I buy this unit now, will I still get the infamous sparodic freeze or has Panasonic corrected this issue with the latest batch of players being released these days? Does anyone know for sure?

Thanks
Jr

If you are connected to the internet, choose the update firmware from the menu.
That should fix it.

Hi, Don,

Unfortunately if you get one that has the sporadic freezing problem, a firmware upgrade does not fix the problem. At least not yet. Panasonic has not been able to commit to being able to fix this with a firmware upgrade for affected players.

Have you ever seen the freeze on your BD80?

Thank you guys for the responses. I guess I'll stay at the fence until Panasonic address the issue, or release the new models next year.
