Default Blu Ray DVD Players - Multi-region with zoom and slo-mo?

I am trying to locate a multi region Blu Ray Player that has:
    1. Profile 2
    2. Frame by Frame Advance
    3. Multi level Zoom
    4. Multi level Slow Motion

Well the multi-region part is definitely going to be tricky as I think having multi-region capability on a player is a violation of the Blu-ray licensing agreement. You might need an external mod in order to support multiple regions of Blu-ray discs on a single player.

Of the Blu-ray players we have tested so far (current generation Panasonic, LG, Samsung), none of them have multi-level ZOOM. Most of them do have aspect ratio settings so you can enlarge non-anamorphic DVDs to fill the screen, or zoom or stretch 4:3 content to fill a 16:9 screen, but that's about it. The only player I've even heard about with a zoom function is the Philips BDP7200 but that zoom is only for DVD/Divx content, it is not functional on Blu-ray content. I know the Panasonic players (BD80, BD60) have freeze frame and slo-mo but not those other features.

Unfortunately I think your best bet is to buy a DVD player that has zoom, multi-region capabilities, Slo-mo and freeze - these features are more common on DVD players. And then get a separate Blu-ray player, just for Blu-ray Discs (but it will lack all or most of those features).

If anyone else knows of a Blu-ray Disc player that offers any of these features, please feel free to chime in.
