    i had a look around that before i'm sure it said dynamic dns is : disabled. also BD-Live Connection set to allow(all).

    If dynamic DNS disabled then you're going to need to find your ISP's DNS servers. Hopefully you can find this in your router's admin panels.

    The other option would be to plug your laptop directly into your cable or DSL modem with a hard-wired ethernet cable (instead of going through your router). Reboot the PC, verify that you can connect to the internet, then do the "ipconfig/all" again - this time you should get your ISP's domain name server addreses (not the 192.*.*.* addresses). Once you copy these down, then plug your router back into your modem, use the manual DNS server addresses in the player and try your BD-Live stuff again.

    It isn't normally this complicated... except when it is.

    right last night (05/06/09) i downloaded about 5videos through BD live on da vinci code one after another. after which it stopped workin again not been working since. so if it worked for about an hour last night, does that still mean i got an issue with dns?
