    Panasonic BD80 vs LG BD390

Hi, I am about to buy a Blu-Ray player, but I am little confused which one to pick.
I read excellent reviews of both players-Panasonic BD80 and LG BD390 and I am very interested in wi-fi feature of Lg 390.
Pls, for your comments and advices which player to choose? Is there any major differences in Blu-Ray playback and DVD up-scaling? After all I am looking for top image and sound quality.
    10x.

We have not tested the BD390, but if it uses the same video processing as the BD370 (which we did test), then it will have problems with 1080i Blu-ray Disc material as it does not properly deinterlace 1080i content to 1080p. Here's our review of the BD370:

If WiFi is really that important to you, then consider the Samsung BD-P3600 as its DVD upconversion and 1080i/p conversion is solid, about on par with the Panasonic players. My only real reservations with the BD-P3600 were related to the PC streaming feature which really doesn't work that well yet. But it's otherwise a solid player. Here's the review:

The Panasonic BD80 is also an excellent all-around player, but if does not come with Wifi. You can add WiFi with a simple wireless gaming adapter for around $45 on Amazon.

    Hope it helps!
