'"In a strange game
I saw myself as you knew me
When the change came,
And you had a
Chance to see through me
Though the other side is just the same
You can tell my dream is real
Because I love you, can you see me now."
- "On the Way Home," Neil Young

If you can't get one I'd be willing to loan mine for a review.

Note that you'll be able to see individual scratches in the horns!
It would seem to me to have the "Screen Saver" active for the playing of movies where one is more apt to hit pause for any number of reasons. The screen saver does work, just not like one might expect it to work. It does not engage for Blu-ray Discs or DVDs that are set to "pause." But it does engage when the Direct Navigator or Functions menu is displayed, or MP3 or CDs are being played, or still photos are being displayed. In these cases, if the screen does not change for 10 minutes, it kicks into the animated screensaver mode. Also, having it on changes the side bars (pillar box area) from black to gray for 4:3 material. This might not be what you would expect, but it is what's documented in the manual. Been this way since at least the 35/55, possibly longer.
It would be nice if Panasonic would upgrade for this!
BTW, the copy of Ray Charles: Live at Montreux 1997 showed up from the PR firm today and I can confirm that there is in fact NO TrueHD mix on there, only Dolby Digital 5.1, DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 and LPCM 2.0. Where the confusion lies is in the fact that the packaging is mislabelled as having both DTS-HD Amster Audio and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 options, but, clearly, the disc menu stated Dolby Digital 5.1, my Onkyo 805 AVR reads DD 5.1 when this option is selected, and my Panasonic DMP-BD80 shows that is outputting Dolby Digital 5.1, so all of those sites that have this listed as containing Dolby TrueHD clearly have not done their homework or were too lazy to actually put the disc in the player.![]()
