Default Looking for a Joan Crawford DVD

I'm looking for a DVD with Joan Crawford. I think the title is "Girl (Woman), on the Beach"
Jeff Chandler stars with her in this film.

A clip from this film was used in the SMPTE Academy test film used by sound/picture engineers in evaluating movie theaters.
Joan Crawford is leaving the room or house with the statement to Jeff Chandler, "It won't be dull. I promise you that."

I think you're looking for "Female on the Beach" (1955?), which has apparently not been released on DVD. Here are a couple of links you might find useful, though:

Your best bet might be to keep your eyes peeled on the cable movie channels (or on a Tivo guide) to see when it's on, and tape a copy on your DVR, assuming you have a DVR.

Good luck!

Cool, then maybe you can kick a few people in the shins and get them to release it on Blu-ray. Well, maybe just a little nudge.

That's too bad, we could certainly use some more classics on BD. I'm glad to see that The Wizard of Oz is finally coming this year. If Warner doesn't load it down with heavy-handed DNR like they did with Amadeus nd a lot of their other titles, that ought to look fantastic.
