pioneer elite kuro pro 111-fd reviews ?

Can anyone tell me if big picture big sound did a review for the pioneer elite kuro pro 111-fd plasma tv ? I can not find it on this site anywhere. I have read other web site reviews and they all give it very high marks. I have an opportunity to buy one at a local store in town here for half off the full retail price, still in the factory sealed box with full warranty. Even at half off , the price was still a little higher than I wanted to spend. I was looking at the panasonic new v series plasma tvs at under $2000.00. But my dilema is that for like $500.00 more i can get a pioneer elite. Is there that much difference in picture quality from the panasonic compared to the pioneer elite ? I read somewhere that the pioneer has 72 hz refresh rate, does that give you a more film like quality than the panasonic at 96hz ? If you were in my shoes would you just spend the extra money for the pioneer, or save the money and not notice that much of a difference in picture quality on the panasonic ? Sorry for being so long with this, but they say a informed consumer is a smarter consumer......thank you

We did not review the Pro111 but did review the regular Pioneer model PDP-5020FD. Both that and the Panasonic V10 are excellent sets. I´d lean toward the Panasonic if it´s cheaper if for nothing else than support.

But either would make an excellent choice.
