If you are planning on purchasing an ultra thin series LCD from any of the Major Manufacture you might want to think about this are you planning on hanging it on the wall and if so do you want that super close picture on the wall like appearance. If so you should pay close attention to how the power cord is connected I have found on some models the manufactures didn’t take this in consideration making it so power cord protrudes out of the back sometime almost as thick as the TV causing the install to become impractical Only Solution I have found is to cut a hole in wall for power cord to sit .Enough about this next thing you should think about is purchasing your mount or having your installer purchase a mount .The best suggestion is to choose a thin mount from Peerless or Chief manufactured mounts. These are a couple of good Brands .Also these LCD if properly installed you will need a distribution panel behind the LCD to hide any extra wires and to house the Power outlet .due to the fact there is no room left for anything. Hope this helps you in you installation or purchase. Daves Home Theater Forum • View topic - Ultra Thin LCD Review From Installers Point of View
