V-MODA Scares Up New True Blood Revamp Headphones

By Rachel Cericola

V-MODA is really sinking its teeth into the headphone market. The company just announced its new True Blood Revamp Metal High-Fidelity In-Ear Headphones. This is a new model for V-MODA, but comes right on the heels of last month's True Blood-inspired audio announcement.

With HBO's blessing, this latest model is "designed for mobile beings whose lives begin at night." It's actually more for True Blood fans, featuring an aircraft-grade aluminum silver bullet microphone on the cord and the Japanese symbols of the Tru Blood beverage from the series right on the actual ear pieces.

Also, even though the Revamp is slightly more portable than the previous V-MODA for True Blood headphone product, the Revamp can still wake the dead via a 9mm V-Masque driver and Beatport technology. Other features include Active Flex detachable sport earhooks and four pairs of BLISS 2.0 (Bass Level Isolating Soft Silicone) noise-isolating fittings, which boast a comfortable overall listening experience.

"Our heritage is founded upon true rockers, DJs and producers," said Val Kolton, V-MODA's founder. "Whether it's starting a gig at midnight, hitting the dance floor until break of dawn, or producing all night in a dark studio, when you put on a V-MODA headphone you instantly escape to the pulsating sensations of the night life."

V-MODA has put an MSRP of $120 on the True Blood Revamp Metal High-Fidelity In-Ear Headphones. Currently in the middle of its fourth season, True Blood airs every Sunday night on HBO.
