Shout! Factory TV Free Video Streaming Service Now Available on Roku, Coming to Smart TVs

Need to get your Mystery Science Theater fix? Joel and Mike aren't ready to sit down and watch a new crop of crappy classics just yet. However, you can relive some of their previous hilarious adventures and catch a ton of other great cult films, TV shows and other content with the newly launched Shout! Factory TV.

Shout! Factory TV is a brand new streaming service that's now available through your Roku media streamer. Powered by the cloud-based service Zype, the channel will feature more than 2,500 hours of entertainment, mixing up cult TV shows, movies, comedy, original specials, and much more.

At launch, Shout! Factory TV will include over 30 episodes of Mystery Science Theater 3000, the Home Movies animated comedy series, The Weird Al Show, It's Garry Shandling's Show, Father Knows Best, Dennis the Menace, Fridays, Mel Brooks: Make a Noise, the Gerry Anderson collection, a spotlight on Steve Martin's stand-up material, Roger Corman flicks, Werner Herzog movies, and too much more to list here. However, the service does have a few live programming stunts in the works, including a Mystery Science Theater 3000 Turkey Day Marathon.

All of the available content can be found by browsing through film, TV and originals sections, as well as via a keyword search. Shout! Factory TV promises to deliver each title in the highest quality video available for that selection, with other perks such as original videos and special behind-the-scenes featurettes. And everything is totally free, because it the channel features ad-supported video.
