Samsung Throws a Curve in the Sound Bar Market with HW-H7500 Curved Soundbar

By Rachel Cericola

The latest release from Samsung Electronics has quite the eye-catching, curvy figure. However, it's not another Curved Ultra HD TV. Instead, the company is putting some of that curve into the newly announced HW-H7500 Curved Soundbar.

With that kind of sleek shape, you may have guessed that Samsung created the HW-H7500 as a complement for one of the company's 55- and 65-inch Curved Ultra HD 4K TVs. The design allows the soundbar to create an audio experience to match the video on those sets, making the two a really immersive package.

Part of that is due to the soundbar's 8.1-channel support. That includes two additional drives on the sides of the speaker, which can deliver surround sound from three directions.

Other features include Samsung's proprietary audio technology, a built-in equalizer, and a finely brushed aluminum finish. The package also includes a wireless subwoofer for a little extra oomph. It can even pair to a Samsung TV easily using the company's "TV SoundConnect" feature.

"With a passion to elevate entertainment experiences for consumers, we continue to lead the industry in key audio segments and deliver innovative premium products designed to create the best audio and home theater entertainment experiences," said Joe Stinziano, Samsung's executive vice president. "The arrival of the Curved Soundbar strikes the balance between outstanding sound quality and standout design that's meant to fit seamlessly with our Curved TVs and in any living room environment."

Designed for wall-mounting under a Curved UHD Samsung TV, the HW-H7500 Curved Soundbar is available now for $799.99.
